Summer Arts Program 2018

In cooperation with the Willamina School District, we will hold our 19th summer arts program in Willamina. Enrollment is open to 9-16yo. Preference will be given to returning students and new students from Amity, Sheridan, Willamina, and Grande Ronde who register before June 1.

The summer arts program consists of 8 days of 2 ½ hour morning and afternoon classes for 2 weeks. The first week will be Monday-Thursday, June 18-21 and the second week will be Monday-Thursday, June 25-28. On Friday, June 29 there are no classes but rather an evening performance and exhibition starting at 5:30pm.

All classes will be held at Willamina High School in Willamina, OR. Bussing will be provided from Sheridan and Amity to Willamina.  Courses are taught by working artists and educators. Classes are limited to 10 students to maximize learning. Classes with low enrollment may be canceled.This program is funded through grants, tuition, and private donations from local individuals and businesses. We welcome your support.

Registration Always Begins May 1st

Registration is accepted “first-come, first-served”. A deposit of $25.00 is due with registration. Balance is due on June 18. No tuition refunds will be given after the final due date. Latecomers may register from 8:30-9am June 18, 2018, at full tuition, as space allows. Classes fill quickly and usually fill by the first week of June.

Through the Summer Lunch Program free lunches will be made available to Summer Arts Program participants. For student safety, we ask that all students remain on campus for lunch.


Registration is accepted “on a first come, first serve basis” with priority being given to returning students and students from Amity, Sheridan, Willamina,  and Grand Ronde. Classes fill quickly and early registration is encouraged. A deposit of $25 is due with registration. Balance is due by the first day of classes. No tuition refunds will be given after June 11. Students may register from 8:30-9am on June 18 as space allows.  


Students are expected to attend all classes and the final Friday Performance/Exhibition. Due to the nature and quality of the classes we offer missed days cause significant disruption to class content. Therefore, no partial attendance will be allowed. 

Student Conduct

Students should be courteous and respectful to teachers, staff, and fellow students. Students who are disruptive to the program may be asked to leave and may jeporadize future enrollment. Financial aid students who are disruptive will not be allowed to enroll the following year.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing that can be discarded without regret, as some classes get very messy. Short, jeans, t-shirts are advised. Electronic devices are encouraged to be left a home.
